Ghanaian forward Jerry Afriyie provided an assist to help RAAL La Louviere secure a 3-1 league victory over Cercle Brugge on Monday night.
The talented attacker played an important role in the win, setting up one of the goals as La Louviere produced a strong performance to claim all three points.
Afriyie’s assist takes his direct goal involvement to five this season, having now registered four goals and one assist in the ongoing campaign.
The youngster is currently on loan from Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah FC, where he is expected to return after completing his development spell in Belgium.
His performances in Europe have continued to attract attention, with the forward showing promise as one of Ghana’s emerging attacking talents.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, Afriyie will be hoping his consistent displays could put him in contention for a place in Ghana’s Ghana national football team squad.
