Jason Kelce risked angering Cowboys fans after branding Dallas ‘the b**hole and armpit of America’ in on-air joke.
The former Eagles center was part of the ESPN pregame crew ahead of the Monday Night Football clash between the Cowboys and the Bengals.
Monday also saw ‘The Simpsons Funday Football’, which saw Bart ‘join’ the Bengals’ and his dad Homer ‘team up’ with the Cowboys in an animated version of the game.
Before kickoff, ESPN’s Mina Kimes was among those portrayed as Simpsons characters on ‘Monday Night Countdown’.
The show is set in Springfield which, as Kimes pointed out, is known as ‘The Armpit of America’s B***-Crack’.
When the cameras panned back to footage of AT&T Stadium, Kelce – who was in Dallas – was heard saying: ‘Also the b**hole and armpit of America!’

It sparked an outcry from his colleagues on the panel, who attempted to drown out Kelce’s comment.
‘It was just a joke! Because of what Mina said,’ the former center insisted. ‘Was it?’ his co-hosts asked.
Former NFL defensive end Marcus Spears – who spent nearly a decade playing for the Cowboys – was seen shaking his head while sitting next to Kelce.
‘We’re having fun here, I love Dallas,’ pleaded the former Eagles star, who was accused of only ‘digging’ himself a deeper hole.
Kelce moved into broadcasting and other ventures after retiring from the NFL back in March.
Earlier this week, the ex-Eagles star was spotted driving through the streets of Philadelphia in a golf cart modified to look like an Eagles football helmet.
In a second video, Kelce could be seen swerving the golf cart before trying to perform a U-turn.
He ended up crashing the cart by turning too sharply – causing it to flip and roll over.
