Head coach Hajime Moriyasu recalled Wataru Endo, who missed the Brazil match due to an injury, along with fellow Premier League players Daichi Kamada (Crystal Palace) and Ao Tanaka (Leeds United).

Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, who has been sidelined since his injury against Chelsea on September 27, 2025, was left out.

The matches will help both teams prepare and assess players to finalise their squads for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
