Jan Gyamerah has arrived at the Black Stars camp in Puebla ahead of Ghana’s international friendly against Mexico.
The 30-year-old right-back was among the late arrivals to join the national team as preparations continue for the highly anticipated encounter.
Born in Berlin, Gyamerah previously represented Germany at the U-18 level before switching allegiance to Ghana. His inclusion adds experience and depth to the Black Stars squad as the team intensifies preparations for the fixture.
Gyamerah enjoyed an impressive campaign with German club Elversberg, playing a key role in their successful promotion to the Bundesliga this season. The defender contributed one goal and three assists during the campaign, helping the club secure elevation to Germany’s topflight.
The former Germany youth international is expected to participate in training sessions with the rest of the squad before the game against Mexico.
The Black Stars technical team continues to monitor the arrival of players as preparations gather momentum ahead of the international assignment.
