Jake Paul secured another win over another iconic boxing name with a unanimous points victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on Saturday night.
Chavez Jr. is the son and namesake of one of boxing’s greatest ever fighters and a former world middleweight champion.
He has fought more than 60 times as a professional but the 39-year-old barely laid a glove on Paul for the first half of the fight.
Instead, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul dominated his opponent for long periods as boos rang out in Anaheim, California.
Chavez Jr. failed to land a single punch in the first round before showing flashes of life in the closing stages.
But he was still powerless to prevent Paul from improving his professional record to 12-1 on Saturday night.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was awarded a unanimous points win over the 39-year-old
‘The Problem Child’ withstood a messy late barrage to keep alive his hopes of landing fights with some of boxing’s best.
Paul, who was fighting for the first time since his controversial clash with Mike Tyson, won by scores of 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92 before turning on the pro-Mexican crowd.
‘Y’all can shut the f*** up,’ he said. ‘I just beat your boys’ a**!’
Paul continued: ‘I was flawless… I thought I did great, going 10 rounds against a former world champion… I embarrassed him.’
After victory was secured, the YouTuber-turned-boxer called out former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Tommy Fury, who handed him his sole career defeat.
‘I want to be a world champion,’ Paul insisted. On Chavez, he added: ‘He’s a tough, tough guy. He’s never been stopped, he’s a Mexican warrior… but I’m also a warrior and I came out on top tonight.’
