Popular Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has finally addressed the ongoing defamatory remarks made by fellow actress Liz Anjorin.

In a recent Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo revealed that although she had remained silent, her legal team has been closely monitoring the situation and preparing for legal action.

Recall that for a while now, Liz Anjorin has been blaming the actress for several things that have been happening everywhere and with anyone.

Reacting to her constant calling out, Iyabo Ojo noted that her silence over the past few months was intentional, as she chose to focus on her family, welcoming her grandson, and supporting her daughter through motherhood.

“Honestly, most times, I struggle to hold my peace… but I have to ignore the distractions. Who God has blessed, no one can curse,” she wrote.

Adding that the insults and curses directed at her family, particularly her newly welcomed grandson, have not gone unnoticed.

The actress hinted that she would be addressing the matter more directly upon her return to Lagos, emphasizing that silence, though difficult, can be a powerful response.

Fans and followers have flooded her comment section with words of support and encouragement.

Below are some of the comments,

“Looking for a strong woman? Look no further, IYABO OJO is one STRONG WOMAN I KNOW and love. May God keep protecting you.“

“My Queen, you’re a light, and God will always be with you and your family.”

“Queen mother, my period that you hold, please release it…”
