    Ivory Coast has claimed the bronze medal at the 2024 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship after a tightly contested 2-1 victory over Niger in the third-place match held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

    The match, played at Stade de Kegue, provided fans with an exciting start to the day as the championship approaches its grand finale.

    Ivory Coast fought hard to edge out Niger in a closely matched contest, ultimately prevailing with a narrow win to secure their place on the podium.

    This bronze medal represents a strong finish for the Ivorian team after a challenging tournament.

    Meanwhile, anticipation is building for the tournament final at 19:00 GMT when Ghana’s Black Satellites will take on Nigeria in a showdown for the gold medal.

    The rivalry between the two West African nations has heightened expectations, as both teams have shown impressive form throughout the tournament and prepared intensely for this final clash.

    With national pride and the championship title at stake, fans can expect a thrilling match to conclude the 2024 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.
