While it’s widely believed that women are the “weaker vessels” and that everyone experiences heartbreak at least once in their lifetime, Glitz Africa CEO Claudia Lumor begs to differ.

In a recent discussion on the ‘Konnected Minds’ podcast, Claudia has disclosed that she has never experienced a broken heart and believes that going through that is a sign of weakness.

When asked, “If we were to look at your brain in an MRI scan, what percentage of emotions would be there?” Claudia responded, “Probably ten, twelve percent.”

She explained her stance, saying, “Even people I’ve dated in the past can attest to the fact that I’ve never had a heartbreak. I see it as a weakness; I just move on.”

In her discussion about how she handles emotional situations, Claudia added, “I don’t even know if I cry. I just brush things off and move on. I don’t have time to cry over things like that. If I do cry, it’s about weird little things.”

She also shared an experience with a close friend, a beautiful, smart, and successful woman, who was left by her fiancé just days before their wedding.

Claudia said she could not understand her friend’s grief, adding that she does not relate to such things.

“I was trying to reach her for a project, but I couldn’t get in touch. I called and texted, but she didn’t respond. Then, one day, I ran into her at an event and asked where she’d been. She told me that her fiancé had called off their wedding at the last minute.”

“I was shocked. Are you serious? You’ve been unreachable because some man who was supposed to marry you let you down? That’s the day I would buy a ticket and go on holiday! You’re going to stop everything because some man didn’t marry you? Move on! It’s his loss. If he didn’t marry you, you’re too good for him. Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?”

Claudia Lumor, who is married with three children, recently lost her bid to become the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti region.
