DKB has lamented the state of politics in African countries, criticising what he describes as the deceitful actions of politicians.

In a post on X on March 25, 2025, the comedian accused some Africans of betraying their own people to please “white men.”

He went further to compare these individuals to some behaviours typically observed in the animal kingdom, claiming that many political parties across Africa exhibit such conduct.

“An African ready to betray his own to please a white man, even animals reason better than them,” DKB wrote.

He added, “Ever seen a zebra betray the herd to lions before? Only stupid Africans. Sadly, we have political parties made up of them. Sorry for Africa.”

His post was accompanied by a video showing the capture of the late freedom fighter and first prime minister of Congo, Patrice Lumumba.

Overthrown in a U.S and Belgian-backed coup by Joseph Mobutu, Lumumba was captured, tortured, and executed on January 17, 1961.

His death made him a martyr for African liberation, symbolising resistance against imperialism and neocolonialism.
