Antoine Semenyo plays for Manchester City

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has described the Premier League title race between Manchester City and Arsenal as a tense moment.

The Citizens convincingly defeated Fulham 3-0 away from home, with Semenyo scoring a goal and providing an assist, continuing his brilliant form.

Their rivals Arsenal stumbled with a 1-1 draw against Brentford, cutting their six-point lead at the top of the table to four after 26 games and intensifying the contest.

Speaking on the title race, Semenyo admitted that it comes with a lot of pressure and tension that the team must handle if they are to become champions.

He stressed that it is imperative for the entire squad to stay focused on winning games to ensure they remain on track to chase Arsenal until the final match and, hopefully, clinch the title.

“Yeah, it’s new to me to go on this. I’m enjoying it, but obviously it comes with a lot of pressure, a lot of demands, and I think we’ve got the team to do it. There are 13 games to go… 12, I think. We just need to keep going,” he told the media when asked about the title race.

The winger has now scored 13 goals, making history as the first Ghanaian to reach that number in a single Premier League season.
