Atalanta have joined the race to sign Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton this summer.

The Serie A outfit, who are keen to make a meaningful impact next campaign, have earmarked the pacey winger as one of their targets for the summer transfer window. The club is determined to add Sulemana to their ranks for the 2025/26 football campaign.

Amid growing interest in the attacker, Southampton are demanding a 10m euros valuation for the transfer of the talented Ghanaian winger.

Atalanta have already contacted Sulemana’s representative in an attempt to lure the winger to Italy this window.

The 23-year-old made 26 appearances in the Premier league in the recently concluded season, scoring one goal and providing an assist across the period.

Sulemana will compete in the English Championship in the upcoming campaign if he is unable to secure a move from Southampton this summer. The Saints struggled in the recently concluded Premier League season, finishing bottom with just 12 points from 38 matches.

Currently under contract until 2027, the pacey Ghanaian winger has yet to make a decision about his future. While on holidays, the former FC Nordjaelland and Stade Rennais star is weighing up his options having attracted interested from several clubs in Europe.

Aside, Atalanta, Sulemana is on the wishlist of fellow Serie A club Genoa and Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.
