Kuami Eugene said his visit was surely for church-related activites

Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene, has clarified the nature of his recent visit to the Volta Region.

He has addressed rumours that his personal transformation was due to traditional spiritual practices.

In an interview on Hitz FM, the “Angela” hitmaker emphasised that the visit was solely for evangelism and church-related activities.

He explained that he travelled to towns including Afiadenyigba, Atiavi, and Keta to take part in spiritual outreach efforts.

According to Kuami Eugene, the experience had a profound impact on him.

“All the prayers I took part in triggered a lot of things. When I got back to Accra, everything started changing, and I’m here today,” he shared.

The artiste also recounted how locals who came to his recent music video shoot didn’t recognize him from his earlier evangelical work.

“They came because it was Kuami Eugene, not because I was there once,” he said.
