Prophet William Braham has explained why his prophecy about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia winning the 2024 elections did not materialise.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu TV on December 13, 2024, the prophet explained that the failure of his predictions to materialise was due to the competitive nature of the prophecies surrounding the election.

He stated that the prophecies from different prophets, who were divided among the two main candidates, conflicted.

“When someone prophesies, he has to work on it. The prophecies surrounding the elections became too competitive. Some prophets prophesied for the NDC, while others did so for the NPP, but it is the same God. Another reason why my prophecy didn’t manifest is that if the other side is doing something bigger than yours, it can overshadow yours. If they are receiving more support from their party while you aren’t, that can also overshadow your prophecy,” he explained.

Prophet Braham also said he later had a dream in which he saw former president John Dramani Mahama winning the 2024 election. Despite this vision, he said he was unable to contact any NDC executives to share his revelation.

“I was fasting and praying one day, and I had a dream where I saw John Mahama, and he told me that he had won the election. He gave me money after that. Later, I saw a group of people in a building, and they were all NPP members. I tried reaching out to NDC members, like Sammy Gyamfi, but when I called him, he said he would visit me. Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t go as expected,” he recalled.

The prophet also lamented that he is currently facing mockery on social media after his prophecy failed to come to pass.

“Right now, some people on TikTok are mocking me. Even children who weren’t born when we started the work of God over 30 years ago are laughing at me,” he lamented.

    Background

Prior to the December 7 election, Prophet William Braham went on a media tour where he confidently predicted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s vice presidential candidate, would win the 2024 presidential race.

Prophet Braham was one of several individuals, including Nana Agradaa, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, and Prophet Azuka, who prophesied a win for Dr. Bawumia.
