Self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, has taken to social media to express her joy and relief following the discharge and acquittal of her partner, Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna, popularly known as IVD, in the long-running court case surrounding the death of his wife, Bimbo.

Sharing the news via her Instagram page, Blessing revealed that the court reached its decision on December 15, 2025, describing the moment as the end of four years marked by emotional strain, public pressure, and what she termed false narratives. According to her, the ruling signifies that justice has finally prevailed.
In an emotional post, she wrote, “Discharged and acquitted, 15th December 2025, It ended in praise. Four years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria’s justice system still works. I am proud of my country. Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna (IVD), you can now have your life back. Congratulations.”
Beyond celebrating the court’s decision, Blessing CEO also used the opportunity to address relationship issues, advising individuals not to remain in marriages or partnerships that have become unhealthy or unsafe.
The development has since generated mixed reactions online. While some congratulated IVD and praised the court’s ruling, others revisited the controversies and public debates that surrounded the case in the years following Bimbo’s death.
Recall that in August, IVD was arrested at the airport while attempting to travel to Qatar, following claims that he was restricted from leaving the country due to the ongoing domestic violence case involving his late wife.
With the court now clearing him of the charges, Blessing CEO has maintained that the ordeal is finally over, adding that her partner can now move forward and reclaim his life after years of legal battles and public scrutiny.
