Iran has threatened to strike American military bases if Donald Trump orders any attack on Tehran.

US sites in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Turkey could be targeted as part of retaliatory measures against Washington.

President Trump has warned the US ‘will take very strong action’ if the Iranian regime hangs pro-democracy protesters with a young shopkeeper set to be executed.

Erfan Soltani, 26, is feared likely to become the first person executed over the demonstrations, with reports saying he would be hanged on Wednesday morning local time.

Tehran mass funeral to include 300 bodies, says state TV

Iranian state television said on Wednesday that a mass funeral in Tehran will include the 300 bodies of security force members and civilians kills in the unrest over the past few weeks.

The funeral is expected to take place at Tehran University under heavy security.

Internet blackout enters sixth day

US military personnel told to leave Qatar base

Some personnel ‌were advised to leave the U.S. military’s Al ​Udeid Air Base ​in Qatar ​by Wednesday evening, three ⁠diplomats told Reuters.

The U.S. embassy ​in ‍Doha ​had no immediate comment.

Al Udeid is the Middle ‍East’s ‍largest U.S. base housing around 10,000 troops. Ahead of ⁠the U.S. air strikes on ⁠Iran in June some personnel were moved off U.S. ‍bases in ⁠the Middle East.
