    One of the Special Assistants to the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Wisdom Edem Gomashie, has supported one of the orphan constituencies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Oti Region.

    Making the presentation to the Buem constituency, the staunch patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is also an engineer, said the items are to support the constituency ahead of the 2024 elections.

    Ing. Gomashie donated the items to the Party on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his residence at Gabusu, Jasikan.

    The items and cash donated sumed up to GHC100,000.00 to support the activities of the Party in the Buem Constituency ahead of the 2024 elections.

    Presenting the items to the Constituency through the Constituency Chairman Arnold Kofi Agble and the Parliamentary Candidate, Adjei Kwadwo Richard, Gomashie indicated that his continuous support to the constituency is to help their activities towards the eventual and hopeful election 2024 victory of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Kwadwo Adjei Richard as the next president of the republic and the next Member of Parliament for Buem respectively.

    Gomashie further tasked the constituency leadership to remain united and focused and put all measures in place to ensure that the ballots are protected on December 7, 2024.

    On the same day, Ing. Gomashie campaigned for the party at Odumase, Okwi, Kute, and Gabusu, all in the Buem constituency.

    In their remarks, the Constituency Chairman and the Parliamentary Candidate commended Ing. Gomashie for his continuous support of the Party.

    The PC further indicated that “this donation is the single largest donation by an individual to the constituency” and promised that the resources will be put to good use.

    The constituency chairman concluded by indicating that “if Buem Constituency were to get 2 or 3 of the kind of Ing. Gomashie, the constituency would have reached much greater heights.”

    Overall, they assured him of working hard to unseat the sitting NDC MP, Kofi Adams, and deliver the Bawumia presidency.

    The items donated include:

    1. One (1) additional motorbike;

    2. One (1) 1600W Electric Lawn Mower;

    3. Ten (10) sewing machines;

    4. Two (2) sterilisers;
