President-elect John Dramani Mahama has earned a lot of acclaim from Ghanaians after posting a video of himself at his farms in Yapae and Busunu online.

On December 24, 2024, John Mahama posted a video with the remark, “My love for farming.” “I spent the weekend on my farms.

“I’ve had a hectic weekend. Farmers across Savannah are working hard since flames have broken out. If you do not bring your crops in fast, bushfires will destroy them. So we’re harvesting soybeans and corn on this field. Yellow maize is used in the chicken business, as are soybeans. We feed our soyabeans and maize directly to Asutware farms, which produce chicken.” John Mahama narrated the video.

He also visited his animal farms, revealing that they began with 300 goats and now have over 500. He stated that as time passes, he will add more animals, such as cattle, to such farms.

This video of Mahama has received a lot of great feedback.

    A user wrote:

“Indeed, the change we voted for. Leadership by example indeed”

“This is quite commendable. It should serve as motivation for many young men and women who do not understand the value in farming. Let’s make agriculture more appealing to young people. A fan wrote.
