Ghana international, Inaki Williams impressed with his performance for Athletic Club on Thursday, January 30, 2025, helping the team to thump Viktoria Plzen 3-1 in the Europa League.

The forward started for his team on the night and assisted his younger brother Nico Williams in the 25th minute to give the hosts the lead.

That combination by the Williams brothers inspired Athletic Club to a delightful victory to end the league phase of the new-look Europa League competition on a high.

While that goal was the only one in the first half, goals from Yeray Alvarez and Javier Marton in the second half sealed the big win for the Spanish La Liga side.

The only consolation goal for Viktoria Plzen was courtesy of a strike from Lukas Cerv in the 71st minute.

In the match today, Black Stars forward Inaki Williams lasted 70 minutes before making way for Alvaro Djalo.

He earned a rating of 7.6, establishing himself as one of the top performers on the night.
