Ghanaian attacker Inaki Williams scored twice for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga game against Espanyol on October 19, 2024 at the San Mames Stadium.

Williams scored in the 28th and 30th minutes to give his side the lead, with his brother, Nico Williams, also playing key roles in the lead-up to the goals.

In the second goal, Nico Williams dribbled past a defender on the left flank, passed the ball to another player who assisted Inaki’s second goal.

In the 2024/25 season, Inaki has scored three goals and made four assists, totaling seven goal contributions after ten matches played.

Despite his excellent form for Athletic Bilbao, Inaki has been unable to replicate the same performance for the Black Stars of Ghana, raising concerns about his adaptability.

The player was unimpressive for the Black Stars when they played two matches against Sudan in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

After four matches played, Ghana are third in Group F with two points, Sudan are in second place with seven points, while Angola leads with twelve points.

The Black Stars will travel to face Angola and play the last match against Niger in Ghana in November 2024.
