While all eyes shift to Nico Williams and where he might land next season, his older brother Inaki Williams is staying put and making his stance crystal clear: he is loyal to Athletic Club.

Next season, Inaki is set to wear the captain’s armband for the first time, a fitting honour for a player who’s never hidden his devotion to the club.

Amid speculation about Nico’s possible move to FC Barcelona, Inaki took to his official platforms on Friday to show where his heart lies.

The Ghana international shared a post on his Instagram Story featuring a fan proudly wearing his red-and-white jersey, with the Athletic anthem playing in the background. It was a simple but powerful gesture that reaffirmed his bond with the Bilbao side.

“It’s impossible to want him more,” Inaki said of Nico while reminding critics that his younger brother’s decision is his alone.

Still, some have blamed him or their family. But with his message, Inaki silenced doubts and stood firm for his club.
