Ghana forward Inaki Williams has been named in the La Liga Team of the Week for Week 10 following his dazzling display for Athletic Bilbao against Espanyol.
The Black Stars striker netted a brace as the Rojiblancos thumped Espanyol at the San Mames last Saturday.
Williams lasted 73 minutes before he was replaced by Nicolas Serrano, a move by manager Ernesto Valverde to keep him fresh for Europe in midweek.
The 30-year-old forward was effective on the right for Athletic Bilbao and sometimes switched with his brother on the left.
His brother, Nico Williams, who delivered a brace of assists in the match, was also included in the best 11 in Spain over the weekend. Also in the Team of the Week is their Bilbao teammate Alex Berenguer.
Williams has scored three goals and delivered four assists in ten La Liga games this season, and also has a goal in two matches in the Europa League.
