Rapper and songwriter, Pope Skinny has revealed how his friendship with Shatta Wale ended abruptly due to unfounded allegations.

After almost 6 years of their separation, Pope Skinny has finally disclosed that he was involved in his altercations with Shatta Wale due to immaturity.

Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast, he said “I was young and our issues started like 2018 so it’s been 6 years and looking at the way I think now if my issues with Shatta Wale happened today I wouldn’t utter a word.

“At times when you explain yourself too much then it turns into something else but Shatta Wale said certain things that really hurt me.

“The allegations he made about me if I didn’t clear it maybe others will feel that’s how it is but if it were to be now like I wouldn’t take it from that angle,” he told Amansan Krakye.

“We’ve had serious fights and serious arguments in the past that we resolved it amicably but he went too deep and I also did the same in our latter issues,” he stated.
