A man incurred a significant financial loss after a fire completely reduced a bundle of ₦1,000 notes to ashes, following a fire outbreak.

In a video shared online by @ig.shehu5, a large crowd was captured after a destructive fire destroyed a building, causing demolition.

Following the regrettable incident, a bundle of burned ₦1,000 notes that had been reduced to ashes was found beneath the structure. The naira notes had been badly burned, diminishing their value as currency.

Viewers recommended that the burnt naira notes be taken to the bank for exchange to restore the damage and cash worth.

Some netizens sympathized, speculating that it might be the man’s life savings or a rent payment for a home.
