Award-winning Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has boldly declared her future ambitions in the music industry.
She announced her intention to win the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) Artiste of the Year award.
The singer made the declaration on stage after a thrilling performance at Medikal’s concert, where she entertained fans with her hit songs on December 13, 2025.
Addressing the crowd, Wendy Shay confidently stated that the coming year belongs to her, stressing that she is ready to dominate the Ghanaian music industry.

According to her, the year ahead will mark a major turning point in her career, as she believes it will be her season to reign.
“Next year will be for the queen. I’m winning the 2026 TGMAs Artiste of the Year, and after that, I will also fill the Accra Sports Stadium,” she said.
Wendy Shay has enjoyed a successful career over the years, releasing several chart-topping songs and delivering consistent performances on major stages both locally and internationally.
