Celebrated highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has expressed disappointment in King Paluta over his recent comments, stating that he was not impressed with the words used, especially coming from an artiste of his calibre.

Kwabena Kwabena made these statements while emphasising the importance of focusing on one’s craft and maintaining professionalism on stage.

According to him, artistes must understand that when they step on stage, it’s not about personal emotions but about delivering a performance for an audience that paid to be entertained.

“You need to look at the craft very well and understand the stage. It doesn’t matter who likes you or not at the end of the day, it’s a job. People bought tickets to come see you, and your duty is to entertain them,” he said.

Reacting to King Paluta’s recent outburst, Kwabena Kwabena advised him to be mindful of his image, saying, “I am not excited about the words he used.”

He further encouraged King Paluta and his management to issue a statement and apologise for the remarks.

Looking ahead, he advised King Paluta to understand that as a public figure, he is constantly under watch and must learn to navigate criticism well. “Everyone can throw shades at you, but you need to find a way,” he added.

He also addressed the part where King Paluta questioned the recognition of a certain lady, pointing out that while she may not be widely known, Paluta himself is now a known personality and that comes with responsibility.

Having experienced similar challenges in the past, Kwabena Kwabena revealed that he has a management team that coaches and helps him deal with such matters professionally.

He ended by cautioning King Paluta to be careful and learn from the situation moving forward.
