Ghanaian actor Aaron Adatsi has denied claims that he is difficult to work with, saying his approach to professional engagements should not be mistaken for being difficult or uncooperative.
The actor addressed the perception during an interview with ZionFelix TV’s Original KP, where he offered some insight into how he approaches work, negotiations and relationships with producers, directors and brands.
According to Aaron, people are entitled to their individual opinions about his personality and the way he conducts himself professionally. However, he disagreed with the description of him as a difficult person and suggested that the public should ultimately form its own judgment based on their experiences with him.
“Everyone has who they see things,” he said, explaining that people can interpret situations differently depending on their expectations and experiences.
Aaron stressed that he does not consider himself difficult, although he acknowledged that some people may have formed a different impression of him.
He was also asked about the procedures and arrangements people have to go through before securing his services for a production. In response, the actor compared the situation to dealing with a brand or corporate organisation, where established policies and expectations often guide professional relationships.
He explained that both parties sometimes have to make adjustments if they genuinely want to work together.

According to him, having policies or expectations does not necessarily mean that someone is difficult to work with. Rather, he believes professional engagements require a level of understanding, flexibility and compromise from everyone involved.
Aaron further touched on the pressures that come with working in Ghana’s entertainment industry, particularly the demands placed on actors when they are on set.
He noted that the work can be stressful and suggested that some producers and directors are sometimes unwilling or unprepared to make the necessary adjustments to accommodate certain circumstances.
For him, however, many potential disagreements can be avoided when both parties are clear about the terms of their engagement before production begins.
The actor maintained that once payment has been settled and an agreement has been reached between him and the production team, he sees little reason for problems to arise when he arrives on set.
He indicated that clarity before a project begins is important because it allows both the actor and the production team to understand their respective responsibilities and expectations.
Aaron’s comments come amid discussions about the working relationships between actors and industry professionals, particularly the expectations surrounding availability, remuneration, working conditions and the demands of film and television productions.
The actor was also asked whether he would be willing to accept any role offered to him, and he responded in the affirmative.
He made it clear, however, that there is one boundary he would not cross in accepting a role. Aaron said he would not agree to cross-dress for a character.
