Popular influencer Ama Burland has taken a swipe at Glitch Africa following the company’s denial of her recent allegations concerning the “Rants, Bants & Confessions” podcast.

The controversy erupted when Ama Burland and co-host Gisella Amponsah accused Glitch Africa of orchestrating a smear campaign against them.

They alleged that the company paid bloggers to insult them in order to generate online buzz.

Also, they claimed that Glitch Africa failed to protect them from cyberbullying and refused to let them preview podcast episodes before they are aired.

In response, Glitch Africa issued a statement categorically denying all allegations, describing the claims of cyberbullying and sabotage as false and unfounded.

However, in a series of tweets posted on May 30, 2025, Ama Burland fired back: “Gonna print that release and give it to a plantain seller to serve plantains on it.”

The ongoing public exchange between the former hosts and Glitch Africa has since sparked massive discussions on social media, with fans and industry observers weighing in on the dispute.

The “Rants, Bants & Confessions” podcast, known for its candid and lively discussions, has featured high-profile guests including musician Shatta Wale.
