    Entertainment figure, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, popularly known as Michy, has said she will always acknowledge Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale for the significant role he played in her entry into the music industry.

    According to her, Shatta Wale guided her in learning how to write and record music when they were together.

    In an interview on Okay FM on November 19, 2024, Michy said, “I was passionate about dancehall, and if he acknowledges it, I had a strong affection for music and dancehall. However, I’ve developed the skill to write and record songs.”

    “Shatta Wale guided me in learning how to write and record my own music, and I will always recognize him for that whenever possible. I will continue to appreciate him for introducing me to this industry and showcasing what I can achieve with my voice,” she added.

    When asked if she plans to create a song to express her gratitude to Shatta Wale, she affirmed that she certainly can write a song to honor him at the opportune time.

    Michy concluded that she will keep acknowledging Shatta Wale for contributing to her music career on any platform where she gets to speak or perform.
