After 25 years of dedicated service in the media industry, host of Angel Drive on Angel FM Kumasi, Nana Obiri-Yeboah, popularly known as Ike De Unpredictable, has officially retired from radio.

The veteran broadcaster announced his departure from mainstream media on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, marking the end of an illustrious career that began in 1999.

In a post seen on Facebook page, he expressed deep gratitude to industry stalwarts such as Loving Cee, Azigiza Junior, Isaac Frimpong, Dr. Kwame Kyei, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Bola Ray, and many others who shaped and influenced his journey.

He also specifically praised Azigiza Junior for mentoring him in the art of radio presentation and Isaac Frimpong (DJ Osooko) for offering him practical experience at Otec FM.

Ike also reserved special appreciation for his loyal listeners.

    See his post below…

His career journey saw him start at Continental Radio (now Focus FM, KNUST) in 1999, before moving to Mighty FM in Asante Mampong, then Kiss FM in Drobo. He later worked with Kings Radio and Light FM in Kumasi before joining Angel FM in 2007. In 2016, Ike was recruited by EIB Network to host shows on Abusua FM, where he worked until 2019, before returning to Angel FM 96.1, where he remained until his retirement.

Until his exit, Ike De Unpredictable served as the host of Angel Drive.
