The new Inspector of General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno has been urged to intervene in the land dispute between Dream Alive Construction Company and some families at Akporman in the Greater Accra Region.
Dream Alive Construction which is a real state firm is unhappy over what it perceives to be bias from the police officers at the Ayi Mensah District Police.
The company laments that despite a court order for it to own 70% of the land with 30% going to the families, the police have sat unconcerned and allowed the families to disregard the court ruling.
According to the company, the police have ignored the court ruling and instead pitched camp with the families allegedly.
“‘I am surprised that the Ayi Mensah police are not obeying court which their own legal department has okayed. I want to use the platform to urge the new IGP to intervene and ensure that justice prevails.
