Ghanaian rapper Edem gave a sharp reply to a netizen who begged him to help settle his/her rent.

During a TikTok live, a user asked Edem to help him or her to pay rent. The person needed GHS 2,000.

After reading the comment, the ‘Gbevu’ rapper told this person to go back to his/her village if he/she does not have money to rent in Accra.

He added that the person would get so many rooms to sleep in after returning to the village.

Edem also did not spare another person who claimed he did not give him money after “drawing” the rapper.

The rapper said he did not ask the person to draw him. He rhetorically asked if this person knows the number of people who have been drawing him to show love.

Edem feels some people are using force to draw popular figures with the aim of taking money from them later.

His reactions to the two issues have received mixed reactions on social media.
