Pastor Sarah Omakwu during a church service, admonishes her members on the importance of paying back what was owed, little or much.

She cautions against ignoring one’s debt and the spiritual implication it may have on the quality of living of the debtor.

In her words, “I beg you for Christ sake, pay the people you owe. If you need to go and sell your jewelry to pay somebody, it is worth it. That is honorable living. If there’s anything you can sell to pay your debts, do it. That is how to live…”

She further warned against being the reason someone cries out to God because they are owed as He never ignores such pleas.

Many online viewers shared their own tales of not being refunded their monies by debtors, and the lessons they gained from such acts.
