The daughters of a man hauled away to immigration detention yelled ‘I hope your families die’ at federal agents as they left.

Raul Lopez, 44, was swept up in a raid on his home in Elgin, Chicago, on January 28 by US Marshals looking for his stepson, Jose Ramos, 26.

Doorbell footage and videos shot by Lopez’s daughters showed the agents smash down the door with a battering ram and drag the family, including a three-year-old boy, outside in their pajamas.

New footage posted online and obtained by DailyMail.com showed the girls hurling abuse at the up to 20 agents as they left with Lopez.

‘Pussy b***hes, all of you guys. Pussy motherf**kers,’ one of them shouted.

‘I hope you families die, f**king b***hes, and your kids.’

Ramos, an alleged gang member, is wanted on charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon for a shooting on November 12.

He was not at the house when the marshals showed up and broke the family’s door down, and Lopez’s family said he didn’t live there.

Lopez was arrested by ICE agents when they realized he was an undocumented migrant who had lived in Chicago for about 24 years.

The raid was not an immigration action, but ICE agents accompanied the marshals as extra manpower as they are part of the US Marshals Service office.

‘After a systematic search of the residence took place, a male subject was found deep, hidden in the attic,’ the US Marshals Service said.

‘An investigative check revealed that this turned into an ICE matter.’

Lopez’s daughters answered the agents at the door before 7am, and, having been advised not to open the door to ICE without seeing a warrant signed by a judge, asked for them to produce a warrant.

Instead, the doorbell footage showed agents knocking down the door on Silver Street with a battering ram and demanding everyone inside come out.

The girls – Janeth, Bethzy, and Jacky Lopez – repeatedly asked to see the warrant as the agents stood in the doorway, one with a riot shield marked ‘SHERIFF’.

‘It’s an arrest warrant, you’ll see it after,’ one of them said, while yelling at them to come out, but they persisted.

Eventually a female agent in camouflage gear moved between the two agents and grabbed one of the girls and forcefully pulled her outside, then Janeth, who was filming.

Security footage showed the entire family was taken outside and handcuffed against one of the marshals’ SUVs.

This included Lopez’s wife Sanjuana Ramos as she carried their toddler son Sebastian after being dragged out of bed.

Federal agents released the rest of the family but handed Lopez over the to ICE agents, who took him to a processing center in in suburban Broadview.

Criminal databases show no convictions for Lopez in the surrounding DuPage, Cook, or Kane counties and his family said he never even had a parking ticket.

The family is originally from Guanajuato in Mexico and moved into the house last summer. Lopez works in construction and his daughters all have jobs, and one is attending nursing school.

Lopez was detained on what is known as a ‘collateral arrest’, where a migrant is detained due to their immigration status during an unrelated police action.

Such arrests were banned under former president Joe Biden’s administration, but highly encouraged by Donald Trump as he tries to deport millions of migrants.

Janeth organized a fundraiser to support the family’s search for Lopez, as he was the main breadwinner, calling his detention an ‘unjust arrest’.

‘They broke our door down! They had no warrant dragged us out some of us with no shoes they said they were looking for a person we said he didn’t live here and didn’t know anything, one officer said if that person wasn’t there someone was going to have to pay and took my dad,’ she wrote.

‘No family deserves this. We have no information of him!’

Why the agents had a ‘sheriff’ riot shield is unclear. The Kane County Sheriff’s Office, where Lopez lives, denied being involved in the raid, as did Cook County.

The Illinois TRUST Act prohibits local law enforcement from participating in immigration enforcement.

Sanjuana Ramos told local media that when she asked the agents why they were detaining him, they responded, ‘We have to take someone.’

Betzy told WGNTV that her family didn’t know where her father was.

‘His whole life he was just working, telling us that he just wants what’s best to work for us, give us everything he can so we can be good,’ she said.

‘Not everyone is bad, some people do try to come here just to give their kids a better life.

‘I’m just scared, I’m worried about him, I don’t know how he’s doing, I worry about my family too, like what’s going to happen, what are we going to do.’
