Ghanaian gospel musician Great Ampong has declared his unwavering commitment towards ensuring that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia secures victory in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

In a recent interview with Accra-based Ezra FM, the musician emphasised that he will take on the role of a “watchman” to safeguard Dr. Bawumia’s success.

“This campaign has already been orchestrated by God. Bawumia is God’s plan for Ghana, and we will be watchmen for him to make sure he wins this election. If anything goes wrong, we will be there,” Great Ampong stated confidently.

The musician also highlighted the significance of Dr. Bawumia’s digitalisation agenda, stressing its positive impact on the youth.

“This digitalisation agenda is very, very important. We can see its effects in the youth; my children always take my phone and tablet to do research and other things,” he added.

Ampong’s endorsement adds to the growing list of creatives supporting Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana, particularly his emphasis on using technology to drive development and empower the younger generation.

Other prominent personalities backing the NPP include Prince David Osei, Kwaku Manu, Kalybos, and many others.

On the other hand, musicians like Mzbel, Nero X, Nacee, and comedian DKB have voiced their support for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
