The Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams, has stated that he would accept the role of Minister of Sports and Recreation if appointed.

According to him, as an ardent sports fan with a particular admiration for boxing, he would be honored to serve in this position, which aligns with his interests in the sporting sector.

Adams noted that it would be an honor if President John Dramani Mahama called upon him to serve his administration as the Sports Minister.

He asserted that he would do his best for the sector and fulfill his mandate to improve its fortunes and elevate sports.

“I love boxing; I will gladly accept the Sports Minister position if appointed,” he said, as shared by GhOne TV on X.

Meanwhile, President Mahama has yet to announce his Minister of Sports and Recreation to assist his government in running the country.

There were rumors about Adams being given the position; however, President Mahama’s acting spokesperson, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, debunked the ministerial list, labeling it as fake.
