Independent Presidential Candidate for the 2024 election, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has given the strongest indication yet that he will contest the presidential election in 2028.

The trade icon made this statement during an interview on PanaGenius TV, where he discussed several issues concerning Ghana, Africa and the wider world.

Kyerematen noted that while God has the final say, as long as he has life, he will definitely be on the ballot in the next presidential elections.

According to the former frontrunner of the World Trade Organisation election, his decision to contest again stems from the fact that he possesses vast experience, knowledge, and global connections that can be of immense benefit to Ghana and Africa as a whole.

“…Yes, definitely. That I can put out, that I will run again. The Almighty God has the final say; we always succumb to his will.

“But be that as it may, that is my interest and desire, because I believe the country will greatly benefit from my experience, exposure, my global network and my vision, particularly for Africa. So, I am not done yet,” the former Ghana Ambassador to the United States said.

When asked which platform he would use to contest, Alan Kyerematen who was lead architect behind the Africa Continental Free Trade Area, assured the nation that, in the not-too-distant future, he will make known the political vehicle with which he will be contesting.
