Gifty Nana Afriyie, the wife of Kumawood actor Oteele, has stated that the next time she finds her husband having an extramarital affair, she would also do the same.

In excerpts from an interview with Zionfelix, shared on social media on April 10, 2025, she said it’s about time women started reciprocating the pain they receive from men.

“I have noticed that we have been forgiving men for long, and so if we don’t reciprocate the same thing for them to feel the pain, there is no way they will stop.

“I have witnessed him cheating on me several times, and I have also made up my mind that the next time he cheats on me, I will also do same. It’s not an easy thing to be cheated on,” she said.

Gifty Nana Afriyie further stated that she does not oppose her husband marrying a second wife, however, she outlined certain conditions she would require him to meet before agreeing to such a decision.

“I can allow him to marry a second wife, however, before he does that, he should gift me a two-story building, send me abroad, and also buy cars for me. He should also make sure my children are well taken care of.

“If he is also to do all these for me, I will allow him to marry as many women as he desires,” she added.

She further disclosed that she sometimes feels the urge to seek divorce, but continues to stay in the marriage because of their children.

“I have told him several times that I want a divorce, and I even told him yesterday. But he has a nice way of calming me down. Sometimes, patience and my children are the reasons why I don’t leave when I become angry. If I tell my children that I am traveling, they become suspicious and begin to cry,” she added.
