Nana Ama McBrown has disclosed that Bullgod’s attempt to kiss her at a recent event completely caught her off guard.
Speaking on Fakye TV, the actress cum TV host described how everything unfolded quickly, leaving her in a state of surprise.
“I wasn’t expecting that. Was he really going to kiss me like that?” she questioned, explaining that she didn’t even realise when Bullgod had moved in to hold her in that position.
She also clarified that Bullgod’s actions were out of excitement from seeing her after a long time, and she didn’t take offence at that.
“He was just excited to see me, and we hadn’t seen each other in a while. Although I was shocked, I won’t fault him. Bullgod is the type who likes to joke around, and I believe the kiss attempt was harmless,” she added.
When asked what she would have done if their lips had touched, McBrown said, “If he had kissed me, I would’ve quickly pulled back and said, ‘Ah!’ But I wouldn’t get mad at him. Even though it’s not allowed, it would’ve happened already, and at that moment, there was nothing I could do about it. Maybe later, I would have pleaded with him not to do that again.”
McBrown emphasised that there’s nothing romantic or sexual between them, noting that Bullgod is simply playful.
“We don’t have anything sexual going on. He just likes to play. I don’t see anything wrong with it, but society will talk about these things. Bullgod is someone who respects me a lot. I don’t know if I’m older than him or if he’s older than me, but he treats me like a goddess,” she said.
Reflecting on Bullgod’s personality, McBrown added, “He is someone that if you understand him, you can get along with him, but if you don’t, you’ll argue with him every day because he’s a hard nut to crack.”
The actress and TV presenter also touched on her relationships with men in the industry and the misconceptions that often arise.
“I’m like a sister to all men. I used to play soccer, so I used to associate with men more than women. I don’t sleep with people I work with because the moment sex enters the equation, the working relationship ends.
“I have dated someone in the industry before, and it’s now public knowledge. If we weren’t strong enough to rebuild after the breakup, it could have broken one of us,” she stated.
On how she has handled the backlash surrounding the kissing incident, McBrown said, “I took it as normal because that’s not who I am. I didn’t make a big deal out of it.”
