Popular media personality and social media influencer Ama Pokuaa Memeneda Ba has revealed that she initially wanted to become a soldier, not a media figure.

Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, Memeneda Ba shared her journey of pursuing her dream and how she eventually found her calling in the media industry.

She disclosed that it was her dream to join the military, inspired by her time in the cadet corps.

“I initially didn’t want to go into the media. I wanted to be a soldier. I had been in the cadet corps and felt like I could do it.”

However, despite applying twice, she was rejected.

“I don’t even know. Maybe they saw me and were like, ‘Who is this?’ Even big people were not getting a chance. How much more me?” she said amid laughter.

By the time she applied for the second time, Memeneda Ba had already begun her media career.

“When I was rejected the second time, I was starting out in the media, so it didn’t hurt as much,” she added.

When asked if she would still consider joining the army if given the opportunity today, Memeneda Ba stated that her interest in the military had faded.

“It has left my interest. I’m not interested anymore. I’m tired,” she said with another laugh.

Today, Ama Pokuaa Memeneda Ba is a well-known media personality and social media influencer, recognized for her vibrant presence and engaging style.
