Ghanaian Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has described himself as the most heavily invested movie producer in the country.

In an interview on Lawson TV on December 21, 2024, LilWin noted that he spent more money on his last three movies than any producer in Ghana.

LilWin explained that he spent GH¢50,000 on meat in his popular movie titled “Agyabofo” because the movie was centered around a hunter.

“If you have noticed the kind of movies I produce in the country, no producer can do that. No movie producer in Ghana can invest in the amount of money I used for Cocoa Season. I spent GH¢50,000 only on meat in my other movie called Agyabofo. Which producer in Ghana would want to invest such an amount of money in a movie? There is none,” he said.

LilWin also debunked rumours that he is competing with colleague actor, Dr. Likee.

“I have worked with Dr. Likee for quite some time now, and he is like my brother, but people don’t understand our business. If you go to Nigeria, they have people doing movies and others doing YouTube, and you won’t hear these comparisons, and it’s not even a competition. Moreover, Likee has been in the industry for a long time, and it’s not YouTube that will give him fame,” he said.
