Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has fired back at music producer MOG Beatz after being accused of selling a catalogue of songs to an international company without crediting the producers who worked on them.

The back-and-forth started after MOG Beatz announced on X on August 19, 2025, that he had pulled down Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ and ‘Wondaboy’ albums from Apple Music.

You sell my beats, erase my credit, then buy luxury cars – MOG Beatz blasts Shatta Wale

According to MOG, Shatta Wale had taken credit for songs produced by him and other beatmakers, then went behind their backs to strike a deal with an international company for millions of dollars.

MOG insisted that the arrangement was fraudulent, stating that producers were cut out of agreements and payments they deserved.

‘Nobody should dare invite me to EOCO or come to my house’ – Shatta Wale warns Raymond Archer

He also warned that more of Shatta Wale’s projects would be taken down soon if the issue is not addressed.

But Shatta Wale quoted MOG’s post on X, claiming that he had supported the producer in the past by helping with his family’s medical bills and even buying him studio equipment.

He argued that this support was meant to be payment for the work MOG did for him, and questioned why the producer would now describe him as a scammer.

“When I was paying for your mother’s eyes problems, medical bills, giving you money to buy studio equipments as payment for the productions, that was scam right. No problem!!!!! It’s people like you that don’t make artiste wanna even help some of these upcoming producers like you. Come let’s sit man to man and let me see if you can tell me this in my face. Ungrateful pig. Very foolish boy!!” Shatta Wale responded.
