A Nigerian woman in Canada responded assertively to criticism from another lady regarding her immigration status in Canada.

In a video shared online, a TikTok user identified as @Jasmine labeled the Canda-based Nigerian woman @hrm_deronke a second-class citizen, stating she would reside in Nigeria rather than relocate abroad to escape being referred to as such in a nation that does not want her there.

Immediately, @hrm_deronke claps back with a video, flaunting the expensive cars she acquired in the country despite her immigration status. She contrasted Nigerian privileges with those she had in Canada.

As @hrm_deronke pointed out, she doesn’t have to wait in line to purchase gas at the station and isn’t denied access to necessities. She also lives comfortably in the country compared to Nigeria because her basic human rights have never been violated.

@thatgirljao It’s when you realize that you are a second hand citizen of Nigeria as woman lol .. Sadly…

@ms_oby The audacity to claim you are living freely in your country when you can’t make a road trip without fasting and praying not to be kidnapped. You can’t get justice from the courts because judges are on sale and you get mouth dey talk to someone who managed to escape 😂😂😂Taaaaaa! Go and sit down!
