Prophet Fire Oja, the founder of the Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry has responded to his viral video of prophesying that the Black Stars will not qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

A 2024 video of Prophet Fire Oja’s prophesy that the Black Stars won’t qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup resurfaced and went viral on various social media platforms after Ghana secured its qualification to the Mundial after beating Comoros 1-0 in Accra.

In the viral video sighted by GhanaWeb Sports, Prophet Fire Oja, during the 31st watch night service in December 2024 said Ghana’s World Cup qualifying campaign in 2025 would end in failure.

He said the failure of not qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco will follow the Black Stars in the World Cup qualifying campaign because Ghanaians will experience the same Heartbreak.

However, Prophet Fire Oja amid the backlash has said his prophesy was about the tournament in 2026 and not the qualifiers that just ended with Ghana topping Group I with 25 points.

“I never said they won’t qualify for the World Cup. I said they will qualify but they won’t do well in the tournament,” Fire Oja said.
