A lady expressed her frustration after realizing she was grossly overcharged for a horse ride experience at a beach in Lagos.

In a post filled with disbelief, she revealed that she paid ₦35,000 for what was supposed to be a fun beach activity.

According to her, the horse rider told her that each ride cost ₦15,000, and because she went twice and also tipped him, she ended up paying a total of ₦35,000.

The twist came when she later discovered from other beachgoers that the standard fee for a horse ride was ₦5,000.

She never knew she could get scammed despite being a mature lady.

The post has since gone viral, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences of being overcharged for a horse ride experience. Others offered advice, warning individuals to always negotiate or confirm prices before hopping on a horse ride experience.
