Mzbel, a musician from Ghana, has publicly said that she prefers married men.

The “16 Years” hitmaker stated in an interview with Empress Gifty on February 2, 2025, that she has always preferred married men in relationships.

She explained that her preference is based on the idea that married men have less obligations than unmarried guys.

“All of the men in my life have been married since I began dating because they come with less obligations. They have to go back to their spouses, so they won’t bother you with housework when they come to you. Since that’s how I got started, I enjoy it that way,” she remarked.

Mzbel was hesitant to reveal the identity of the married man she was asking whether she was now seeing.

They are engaged, though, and they have a child together, she verified.

“I don’t want to know, therefore I haven’t asked him if he’s married. I am engaged, but I am not married. He has yet to meet my family. The important thing is that we are both interested in one another. He gave me the ring when I asked for it,” she said.

Together, we are parents to a child. It’s just the two of us, and I don’t think he needs to meet my family for an official introduction. “He’s a lot older than me,” she continued.
