Renowned Ghanaian artiste, Kwaisey Pee, has said he has suffered a lot in the music industry because he is blunt person.

In an interview with Doreen Avio on DaybreakHitz, the highlife artiste said that younger musicians don’t want to collaborate with him because when they bring their craft and he brings his suggestion, they feel like he is not entitled to advise them on it.

“Maybe because when you ask me a question and I’m like this is what it’s supposed to be and they feel like probably I’m not the one to advise them. I realised that maybe they are not happy with my comments.

“I heard one young artiste who was telling an old artiste that he is not the one to advise him and that was when I realised that maybe my comments or what I take as an advise, they don’t really appreciate it. They feel like whatever they are doing, they are doing it so who are you to advise them,” he stated.

Kwaisey Pee also recounted how he was once told by some people that he should just fake his sentiments.

“I heard couple of people telling me to fake it till I make it. That’s what is going on in this country. Everybody is fake. So, when you come in as a real person, that’s when you get a lot of enemies. I’ve suffered a lot in this country because I’m blunt and they say I speak my mind,” he added.
