MC Yaa Yeboah, who has repeatedly denied allegations of being in a relationship with Canadian-based Ghanaian Richmond Owusu, made a contradictory statement during a recent interview on Neat FM with presenter Ola Michael.

Previously, Yaa Yeboah addressed these rumours on shows like UTV’s United Showbiz and The Delay Show, insisting she had no connection with the man.

In her interview with Ola Michael, Yaa Yeboah expressed frustration with the persistent rumours, asserting that she had never met Richmond.

When questioned about alleged pictures and chats shared by Richmond, she dismissed them, saying, “He’s lying, has he shown you? Has he put it out there? I will not repeat, and I will not dignify this question with an answer… I have kept quiet for a while, and there is a reason why.”

However, during the same interview, she acknowledged having spoken to Richmond Owusu in the past, contradicting her previous claims on The Delay Show, where she denied ever speaking to or meeting him.

“Yes, I have spoken to Richmond Owusu before,” she admitted.

    Background

On October 20, 2024, Yaa Yeboah appeared on The Delay Show, urging the public to ignore rumors of an affair with a “Canadian Borga.”

She claimed she did not know the individual and was surprised by the video circulating online.

In response, Richmond Owusu took to social media, reaffirming their alleged relationship and claiming he had invested in her business and her family’s well-being.

He also claimed that when they started their relationship, Yaa Yeboah had very little, and they had even discussed her joining him in Canada.
