Ghanaian athlete, has reacted to his failure to qualify to the semi finals of the men’s 100 metres event at the ongoing 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Azamati, no excuse will make up for his inability to qualify for the semi finals of the men’s 100 metres.
Benjamin Azamati finished 6th in Heat 5 and missed out on the top 3 automatic slot for a semi-final qualification.
The Ghanaian clocked a time of 10.30 in Heat 5.

Letsile Tebogo of Botswana, Andre De Grasse of Canada and American’s Courtney Lindsey qualified to the semi-finals from Heat 5 after securing the top 3 positions.
