I’ve been heartbroken several times – Sista Afia on relationship journey

Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia, has opened up on how her heart got broken several times in her quest for a life partner.

In an interview with Empress Gifty on February 23, 2025, she openly spoke about her experiences and mentioned that she has been broken-hearted several times when she was overseas.

“I have been broken-hearted on many occasions when I was in London. I do not want to give credit to any man, which is why I denied dating anyone abroad,” she said.

When asked if she plans on settling down anytime soon, Sista Afia indicated that she is not ready to get married; however, she plans on giving birth someday.

“Currently, I am not in a relationship, and I do not know if I would want to settle down. If it is by the will of God for me to get married, I would.

“Every woman wants to get married, but I am not ready yet; however, I want to give birth. My mother did not get married, but she gave birth,” she added.
