Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian musician
Nigerian afrobeat singer, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has opened up on how she disliked one of her much-anticipated songs after she had finished recording.
In a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb entertainment on July 31, 2025, Tiwa Savage noted that she hated her popular, “Eminado” song.
Tiwa Savage explained that she intended not to release the song until her boss, Don Jazzy, compelled her to.
However, according to Tiwa, her album might never have seen the light of day without including “Eminado” on the track list.
“I hated Eminado, I hated that song when I first heard it, and Jazzy was like it’s going on your album. I was like, no, it’s not. He told me the album is not coming out unless you put Eminado on it.
“He was like he understands the market. You know you have to go with Jazzy because he is Don Jazzy, and that was how the song blew,” she said.
Tiwa Savage added that she hated the idea of performing the song even after it became a hit.
“I hated it even more because now I have to perform it every time. And now I have to perform it last because that is what everybody is waiting for. And he will be looking at me,” she added.
